Putting Workflows to the test
We're putting our money where our mouth is, so to speak.
Over the last few weeks, I have been talking to design agencies about using World of Workflows Engine edition to be the back end of a new application or site.
While Workflows is really well placed to do this, I wanted to take this idea to the extreme.
Therefore, we're going to, over the next several blog posts, videos, and social posts create a brand new startup.
We're going to give ourselves a budget of $1,000, and using World of Workflows create a full startup business, collateral, marketing, and product and release it to market and try and generate some revenue.
Workflow News is a personal news aggregator. The goal of the product is to provide an aggregation of various news sources, tailored to your likes and dislikes using AI and deliver both an interactive news portal and daily summary, right to your inbox.
We're going to use World of Workflows Engine Edition as the backend to do all of this, but if you want to follow along at home, you can use the Free Personal Edition to try out our workflows and solutions for yourself.
Finally, we're doing all of this open-source. That means you can get involved, raise issues, and even suggest changes. Everything is going to be on GitHub including business plans, marketing plans, code, and everything else, so feel free to contribute.
Finally, we're building a full startup from scratch - it might work, and it might not, and we'll make mistakes along the way - feel free to comment!
We've started the repository where you can find our new logo, business plan, company structure and initial financials. You can find it here: https://github.com/World-of-Workflows/Workflow-News.
If you want to contribute, simply get a GitHub account, fork the repository, make your own changes, and create a pull request. If contributing directly isn't your thing, feel free to create an issue.

I look forward to having a lot of fun and showing how to turn a World of Workflows instance into a thriving new business - all before Christmas
